§ 96.15 SKATEBOARDS ON PUBLIC RIGHTS OF WAY.
   (A)   Definition. The term SKATEBOARD, as used herein, shall designate a platform supported by wheels intended to carry and support a human foot and to be propelled by human foot power. It includes vehicles containing a handle bar and sometimes referred to as scooters.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for any person to use, operate, ride upon, or propel a skateboard on any sidewalk located adjacent to any public street or roadway, or upon any portion of any public street or roadway in the following designated area:
      (1)   Nebraska Street from White Street to Hickory Street.
      (2)   Kansas Street from White Street to Hickory Street.
      (3)   Elwood Street from White Street to Oak Street.
      (4)   White Street from Nebraska Street to Elwood Street.
      (5)   Ash Street from Nebraska Street to Kansas Street.
      (6)   Oak Street from Nebraska Street to Elwood Street.
      (7)   Hickory Street from Nebraska Street to Kansas Street.
      (8)   Public Parking Area located at the corner of Oak Street and Kansas Street.
      (9)   Public Parking Area located at the corner of Hickory and Nebraska.
   (C)   It shall be unlawful for any person to use, operate, ride upon, or propel a skateboard on or over any jumping device or ramp, or similar structure on any public sidewalk, street or roadway, or public right of way not so designated for such use by the Village Board of Trustees, within the village.
   (D)   It shall be unlawful for any person to use, operate, ride upon or propel a skateboard on or over any jumping device or ramp, or similar structure on any portion of Breidert Green and the adjacent parking lot, or on the Prairie Park parking lot, or on any other private property as posted by a proprietor.
