§ 51.091 REQUIREMENTS FOR SEWER CONNECTIONS.
   (A)   All sewer service mains hereafter connected into the sewer system of the Village of Frankfort shall be set at grade of not more than 3½ feet below the exterior finished ground grade at the place where the sewer service main enters the foundation or footing of the building which is serviced by such sewer service main.
   (B)   No person shall make connection of roof downspouts, exterior foundation drains, areaway drains, or other sources of surface runoff or groundwater to a building sewer or building drain which in turn is connected directly or indirectly to a public sanitary sewer.
   (C)   The connection of the building sewer into the public sewer shall conform to the requirements of the building and plumbing code, or other applicable rules and regulations of the village, or the procedures set forth in appropriate specifications of the American Society of Testing Materials, “Water Pollution Control Federation Manual of Practice No. 9,” and “Standard Specifications for Water and Sewer Main Construction in Illinois.” All such connections shall be made gastight and watertight. Any deviation from the prescribed procedures and materials must be approved by the village before installation.
