Whenever any work not specifically included in section 8-1-1 of this chapter is performed on a village right-of-way, the individual, firm, or corporation performing such work shall first provide to the village a cash bond in the amount of five hundred ($500.00) dollars. This cash bond shall secure the cost to restore village right-of-way to at least as good a condition as that existing prior to the construction under the permit, as determined by the Village. If the Village determines to draw upon this cash bond, it will provide the contractor with seven (7) days' notice specifying the reason for such proposed draw. The contractor may, within said seven (7) day period, appeal that determination to the Village Administrator. The decision of the Village Administrator will be final. (Ord. 85-18, 11-12-1985; amd.
