In the event an owner fails to remove and dispose of an inoperable motor vehicle following the notice provided for in section 7-7-2 of this chapter, the village police department is hereby authorized and directed to remove such inoperable motor vehicle or parts thereof. The owner of the inoperable motor vehicle shall be entitled to a pre-tow hearing as provided in subsection 9-4-3(C) and section 9-4-6 of this code. The owner of the inoperable motor vehicle shall be responsible for all costs incurred by the village in removal, storage and disposal. (Ord. 00-10, 9-12-2000)
