Any person who violates any provision of the Fire Code shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be subject to the imposition of a penalty of not less than twenty five dollars ($25.00), nor more than the maximum penalty provided in section 1-4-1 of this Code. A separate offense shall be deemed to be committed on each day that a violation occurs or is permitted to continue. The institution of an action seeking the imposition of a penalty hereunder shall not be deemed to limit any other remedies available to the Village, nor in any way impinge on the summary abatement power of the Village to remedy conditions which threaten the public health, safety or welfare.
