Whenever in any ordinance or provision of this Code any act is prohibited or is made or declared to be unlawful or an offense, or whenever in such ordinance or provision the doing of any act is required or the failure to do any act is declared to be unlawful, where no specific penalty is provided therefor, the violation of any such provision or ordinance shall be punishable by a fine not exceeding seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00) unless provided elsewhere by separate offense. A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day a violation occurs or continues 1 . (Ord. 64-89, 2-25-1964; amd. Ord. 95-23, 10-10-1995)
