10-3-7: ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION:
   A.   Environmental Plan Required: A plan for the protection of the environment for all subdivisions must be submitted to the director of public health and safety concurrently with the submission of a preliminary plat of subdivision. The environmental protection plan shall designate as may be applicable: (Ord. O-11-98, 3-9-1998; amd. Ord. O-7-10, 2-8-2010)
      1.   Location of existing trees having a diameter of greater than six inches (6") measured at a point twelve inches (12") from grade.
      2.   An inventory by species of trees having a diameter of more than six inches (6") measured at a point twelve inches (12") from grade.
      3.   Location and sources of watercourses, ponds, lakes, marshes or swamps.
      4.   Inventory and location of soil types which may be satisfied with one soil test boring per acre of developable land.
      5.   A topographic map and any alterations in existing grade exceeding one foot (1').
      6.   Location of all roadways, driveways and parking areas and other paved areas.
      7.   Buildable area and approximate location of all buildings.
      8.   Location of all utilities.
      9.   Stormwater plans.
      10.   Plans for solid waste disposal.
      11.   Water sources.
   B.   Consideration Of Plan: The plan commission shall review the proposed environmental protection plan for the proposed plat of subdivision. The zoning board will act to approve or disapprove the proposed environmental protection plan at the time consideration is given for approval of the preliminary plat of subdivision. If the village council determines that the proposed environmental protection plan shall be approved, it shall do so by the adoption of an approving resolution of the preliminary plat of such subdivision.
