Except as provided by this title and except after a building permit shall have been issued by the director of public health and safety of the village, which permit shall state that the proposed building or use of land complies with all the provisions of this title, it shall be unlawful within the corporate limits of the village: (April 1969; amd. A. To establish any use of a building or land, either by itself or in addition to another use;
B. To excavate for or build any foundation;
C. To erect or establish a new building or part thereof, except signs of the class permitted in the R-1 district;
D. To rebuild, structurally alter, add to, enlarge or relocate any building or part thereof;
E. To reduce the yard space or plot area required for a building, or to include any such yard space or plot area as that required for an adjoining building;
F. To erect more than one main building on one lot. (April 1969)
