8-2-3: PERMIT FEES:

No permit, as required by this Code, shall be issued until the fee prescribed herein has been paid.

A.	New construction and additions (including garages and accessory buildings):
	Residential buildings:
		One- and two-family dwellings			$15.00 per contracted $1,000.00
		3 or more dwelling units			$25.00 per contracted $1,000.00
		Plan review			Third party review expense plus $25.00
	Commercial/industrial buildings:				$20.00 per contracted $1,000.00
		Plan review			Third party review expense plus $25.00
	All other uses				$25.00 per contracted $1,000.00
B.	Repairs and alterations:
	Residential buildings:
		One- and two-family dwellings			$15.00 per contracted $1,000.00, with minimum fee of $25.00. No charge for contracts under $2,500.00
		3 or more dwelling units			$25.00 per contracted $1,000.00
	Commercial, industrial and other buildings:				$25.00 per contracted $1,000.00
		Plan review			Third party review expense plus $25.00
C.	Demolition:
	Garages and accessory buildings				$50.00 each
	Other structures				$25.00 per contracted $1,000.00
D.	Roofing (removal and replacement, recoating or additional layer):
	Residential buildings:
		One- and two-family dwellings			$75.00, no fee for contracts under $5,000.00
		3 or more dwelling units			$20.00 per contracted $1,000.00
	Commercial, industrial and other buildings				$25.00 per contracted $1,000.00
E.	Temporary structures:
	Tents, per 3 day period				Permit required, no fee
	Portable structures (construction and sales trailers, etc.) and other structures, for each 6 months or portion thereof				$200.00
F.	Miscellaneous construction:
	Shoring, raising and/or moving of any building:
		Basic fee for first 8,000 cubic feet			$50.00 plus for each 800 cubic feet or fraction thereof, $10.00
	Nonresidential canopy, fixed awning, each erection or alteration				$25.00
	Tanks, raised or underground:
		Basic fee for first 2,000 gallons			$100.00 plus $20.00 each 1,000 gallons capacity or fraction thereof
	Elevators, escalators, lifts, hoists, dumbwaiters, conveyors, each:
		Basic fee for first 5 floors			$150.00 plus $25.00 for each floor over 5
	Other miscellaneous structures:
		Temporary bleachers			$250.00
		Incinerators, per installation			200.00
		Swimming pool, each:

G.	Heating, ventilating and air conditioning:
	Heating:
		Warm air furnaces			Permit required, no fee for single family dwellings. All others $50.00
		High pressure boilers			$100.00 residential less than 3 units, all others $250.00
		Low pressure boilers			$25.00 each
		Heat pump			$25.00 each
	Air conditioning (central):
		First 3 tons or less			$25.00 plus $5.00 each additional ton or fraction thereof over 3 tons
	Ventilation systems, mechanical:
		Basic fee for first 3,000 CFM			$50.00 plus $5.00 each additional 1,000 CFM
H.	Utility poles:
	Setting or replacing permit				$50.00 plus $1.00 per pole
	Trenching				$3.00, plus $0.10 per linear foot of trench
	Telecomm other utilities				$250.00 for contract amount less than $10,000.00. $500.00 for contract amount greater than $25,000.00, $1,000.00 for contract amount greater than $50,000.00 plus review and legal fees
I.	Inspection fees: The inspection fee schedule shall be as follows:
	Residential buildings:
		Individual condominium units			$ 225.00
		Single-family detached/attached, dwelling units/townhomes			325.00
		Buildings which contain:
			2 dwelling units		500.00
			3 dwelling units		650.00
			4 dwelling units		750.00
			5 to 9 dwelling units		1,000.00
			10 to 20 dwelling units		1,500.00
			21+		5,000.00
	Industrial buildings:
		For properties up to 50,000 square feet			1,500.00
		For properties greater than 50,000 square feet			3,000.00
	Commercial/other buildings:
		For properties less than 5,000 square feet			500.00
		For properties 5,001 to 15,000 square feet			1,000.00
		For properties 15,001 to 25,000 square feet			2,000.00
		For properties greater than 25,000 square feet			5,000.00
	Re-inspections for all commercial and multi-family dwellings (3-units +):
		First inspection			50.00
		Second inspection			100.00
