Nothing in this Code shall be construed to prevent the use of any material, or method of construction, whether or not specifically provided for in this Code. If, upon presentation of plans, methods of analysis, test data or other necessary information to the Director of Public Health and Safety, the Director of Public Health and Safety is satisfied that the proposed material or method of construction, complies with the specific provisions of, or conforms to the intent of this Code.
