8-1-4: HABITABLE BUILDINGS:
It shall be unlawful to maintain, occupy or use any building, structure, or part thereof, that has been erected, or altered, in violation of the provisions of the building code of the village. No building or structure shall be occupied unless it is in a safe and habitable condition, as prescribed by this code. (Village code § 10-4)
