The provisions of the state of Illinois, designated as 65 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/11-31.1 et seq., entitled "building code violations", as from time to time amended, is hereby adopted by reference, and any person charged with a building code violation pursuant to any applicable village ordinance or state law may be prosecuted under and in accordance with the provisions thereof.
