A. False Alarms: No person shall wilfully make or send in any call or alarm for the fire or police department without sufficient and bona fide cause therefor. (Village code § 20-4)
B. Resisting Arrest: It shall be unlawful for any person to knowingly resist or obstruct the performance by one known to the person to be a peace officer of any authorized act within his official capacity or to knowingly interfere or prevent a peace officer from discharging his duty as such officer, and to, in any manner, knowingly assist any person in the custody of any member of the police department to escape or attempt to escape from such custody. For the purposes of this section, "resist" shall mean passive as well as active resistance. (Ord. O-24-68, 5-13-1968)
