It shall be unlawful for any person to keep more than a total of three (3) dogs and/or cats on his property within the village, with the exception that a litter may be kept for a period of time not exceeding five (5) months from birth. The provisions of this section shall not apply to persons who are licensed to engage in the businesses of pet shop operator, kennel operator or animal shelter. (Ord. O-48-01, 11-19-2001)
