3-6-3: CONDITIONS OF PERMIT:
   A.   An express condition of the issuance of such permit, the permittee thereby agrees to indemnify and save harmless the village, its officers and employees against any loss, liability or damage, including expenses and costs for bodily or personal injury, and for property damage sustained by any person as the result of installation, use or maintenance of the newspaper vending machine or newspaper stand within the village.
   B.   Permits shall be valid for one year and shall be renewable upon application in the manner prescribed in subsection 3-6-2C of this chapter and upon payment of a permit fee.
   C.   No permit for a newspaper vending machine or newspaper stand shall be issued unless the applicant shall first procure and deliver to the village clerk a liability and property damage insurance policy in a company and form satisfactory to the village clerk, protecting the village, its officers and agents, against any and all liability for damages resulting from the installation, use or maintenance of the machine or stand covered by the permit, for not less than one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00) for one person killed or injured in a single accident; not less than two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000.00) for two (2) or more persons killed or injured in any one accident, and not less than twenty five thousand dollars ($25,000.00) for property damage in any one accident. Such insurance shall be kept in force by the applicant with initial and renewal premiums prepaid in advance of the periods covered, so long as the machine or stand for which the permit issued shall remain on the public way.
