3-6-1: DEFINITIONS:
   DISTRIBUTOR: A person, firm or corporation responsible for operating or maintaining a newspaper stand or newspaper vending machine on the public way in the village.
   NEWSPAPER STAND: Any attended structure from which any newspapers, magazines or periodicals are distributed or sold.
   NEWSPAPER VENDING MACHINE: Any self-service or coin operated box, container, storage unit or other dispenser used for the display and sale of newspapers or other news periodicals.
   PARKWAY: That area between the sidewalk and the curb of any street, and where there is no sidewalk, that area between the edge of the roadway and property line adjacent thereto.
   PUBLIC WAY: All that area dedicated to public use for public street purposes and shall include, but not be limited to, roadways, parkways, alleys and sidewalks.
   ROADWAY: That portion of a street improved, designed or ordinarily used for vehicular travel.
   SIDEWALK: Any surface provided for the exclusive use of pedestrians. (Ord. O-8-82, 5-10-1982)
