A procedure to withdraw a landmark designation shall be initiated by filing an application with the village clerk, in accordance with section 12-3-2 of this title; provided, however, that the application shall include a written explanation of the reasons for withdrawal as provided by section 12-4-1 of this chapter. Upon the filing of a completed application, notice shall be given and a public hearing shall be held in accordance with section 12-1-5 of this title. (Ord. O-1-06, 1-9-2006)
