§ 36.99 SANCTIONS AND PENALTIES.
   (A)   Sanctions. The Mayor may impose the following sanctions of any employee for violations of this chapter:
      (1)   Oral or written reprimand;
       (2)   Suspension; or
       (3)   Termination.
   (B)   Penalties.
      (1)   The value of anything transferred or received in breach of this chapter by an employee or officer be recovered from either.
      (2)   A person who contracts for or purchases supplies, equipment, services, professional services, or construction in a manner the person knows or should know to be contrary to these requirements is liable for all costs and damages to the city arising out of the violation. §§ 36.15 through 36.20 is liable for all costs and damages to the city arising out of the violation.
      (3)   Any person, firm or corporation violating any of these provisions shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction therefore shall be fined in an amount not exceeding $500 or be imprisoned for a period not exceeding 30 days or be both so fined and imprisoned.
