ARTICLE II. OPERATION OF VEHICLES
§ 28-43 OPERATION OF MOTOR VEHICLE BY PERSON UNDER 14 PROHIBITED.
   It shall be unlawful for any person under the age of fourteen (14) years of age to drive a motor vehicle upon any public highway in the City of Flint.

§ 28-44 HALTING VEHICLE.
   No person shall halt any horse, team or other animal, or any wagon or other vehicle, on any crossing or crosswalk within the City.

§ 28-45 DRIVING ON SIDEWALKS.
   No person shall drive or propel any horse-drawn or motor vehicle, or motor-driven cycle within any sidewalk area except at a permanent or temporary driveway.

§ 28-46 DRIVING ON STREETS CLOSED FOR REPAIR AND THE LIKE.
   Whenever authorized signs are erected indicating any street or part thereof is closed to vehicular travel by reason of street construction, repair or other reason, no person shall drive a vehicle upon any such street or portion except drivers of vehicles having business or whose residences are within such closed area, and then any said driver shall exercise care in driving upon any said street or portion thereof; provided, that no provision of this section shall operate to relieve any such driver from the responsibility of any damage caused by his driving thereon.

§ 28-47 DRIVING IN ZONE OF QUIET.
   Whenever authorized signs and/or markings are erected indicating a zone of quiet, no person in charge or control of any vehicle or any device connected therewith shall make any excessive noise, unnecessarily race his motor, or open the muffler on any vehicle, or permit such vehicle or any device thereon to emit an unreasonable amount of noise.
