§ 8-54  ENTERING EXHIBITION BY STEALTH PROHIBITED.
   Any person who shall surreptitiously, or by stealth enter any building, tent or inclosure in which any exhibition is being or to be held, shall be punished by a fine not exceeding five dollars and the costs of prosecution, and the court before whom such conviction shall be had may make a further sentence that in default of the payment of such fine and costs within a time to be fixed by the court, the person so convicted shall be imprisoned in the county jail or city prison, until such fine and costs be paid for a term not exceeding ten days.
