§ 8-30  BOND.
   No such license shall be issued by the City Clerk unless and until there has been deposited with the City Clerk a bond in the sum of $20,000.00 for the benefit of any person or persons who may receive injuries or suffer death by reason of the operation of such firing range and/or shooting gallery, which bond shall be approved by the Chief Legal Officer. In lieu thereof, the applicant may deposit a policy or certificate of liability insurance acceptable to and approved by the Chief Legal Officer, insuring and indemnifying the applicant in a sum of not less than $10,000.00 for the injury or death of one person and $20,000.00 for the injury or death of two or more persons in any one accident resulting from the operation of such firing range and/or shooting gallery. The said policy shall further contain a clause obligating the insurance company issuing the same to give thirty (30) days’ written notice to the City Clerk before cancellation of the same. In case the policy of insurance is not replaced, the license of the licensee shall forthwith be cancelled at the expiration of said thirty (30)day period.
