Nothing contained in this ordinance shall be interpreted to require any person to disclose the actual value of financial interests, sources of income or gifts which are mentioned in the annual statement. As an alternative to filing a statement listing the information required by § 1-148(a), (b) and (c), a candidate may file a copy of the federal income tax return covering the candidate’s most recent taxable year.
