§ 46-118  EXCLUDING SURFACE WATER FROM THE SANITARY SEWER.
   In buildings requiring basement or cellar floor drains, the building sanitary sewer shall not be connected to the building sanitary drain until the roof structure is complete and the foundation backfilling and adjacent earth grading is complete. However, the building storm sewer shall be connected to the building storm as soon as practicable. Subsoil drainage shall not be connected to the sanitary sewer. There shall be a sump pump installed to remove subsoil water.
