(a) Notification of quitting installation required. Should any licensed water, sewer or drain layer, to whom a permit has been issued for an installation of water or drainage, quit the installation for any reason, he or she shall immediately notify Building and Safety Inspections.
(b) Inspection of partial installations quitted are required. If a installation has been partially completed, the water, sewer or drain layer, upon quitting the installation shall notify Building and Safety Inspections and request an inspection. Acceptance of or violations against the work installed shall be recorded by the Inspector on the permit according to his or her findings. No refund shall be granted to the grantee of the permit fee for the portion of the work that has been completed.
