No person shall make a stand or stopping place within or upon any street, alley or parkway within the city limits for the purpose of exhibiting for sale, or for the purpose of selling, or offering for sale, any fruits, nuts, vegetables, game, popcorn, candy, poultry or other provisions or any horses, mules or cattle, or any wagon, carriage or other vehicle drawn by either of the animals aforesaid.
