163.09 BENEFITS AFTER EXPIRATION OF SICK LEAVE.

   The Finance Director is hereby authorized to pay the City's contributions to the hospitalization, medical, surgical and dental care plan as defined in Section 163.05 and the premiums for group life insurance provided to full-time employees for those full-time employees not covered by a collective bargaining agreement who are off work from extended illness or accidents. The Finance Director is authorized to make such payments for a period of one year after the expiration of a full-time employee's sick leave benefits. The employee remains obligated to pay any employee share of the costs for such coverages.
