145.03 LIFE INSURANCE FOR FIRE CHIEF.

The Fire Chief shall be provided a minimum of fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) of life insurance which shall be automatically increased to equal the amount of life insurance provided to the Chief of Police by the City. In addition, the Fire Chief may purchase additional units of life insurance at his or her expense as an add-on to the existing City-provided policy. All other provisions of Section 163.05 of the Codified Ordinances not inconsistent herewith shall apply to the Fire Chief.
