§4.12   CODIFICATION OF ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS.

   By ordinance or resolution, the Council may cause the ordinances and resolutions of the City to be codified, recodified, rearranged, or published in book form and such action shall become effective immediately upon approval thereof. Amendments, deletions and additions to existing codified ordinances and/or resolutions shall be adopted by ordinance or resolution adopted and published in accordance with the requirements of this article and shall be effective as provided in §4.07(B) unless adopted as an emergency measure as provided in §§ 4.06(A) and 4.07(A)(7) when otherwise permitted. A current service supplementing the City’s codified ordinances and resolutions shall be maintained in the manner prescribed by the Council. If an internet website is maintained by the City, the codified ordinances and resolutions shall be made available on the website and updated as current supplements are published by the codified service.
