(A) All of the provisions of the Uniform Traffic Ordinance, 1964 Edition, adopted by the League of California Cities, except §§ 11.8, 15 and 15.1, are adopted and made a part of this title as though fully set forth herein.

The Uniform Traffic Ordinance as adopted by § 10.04.010 is amended by adoption of § 3.10, to read as follows:
Section 3.10. STORAGE AND ABANDONMENT OF VEHICLES OR VEHICLE PARTS.
No person shall store, leave or abandon any licensed or unlicensed vehicle or vehicle parts, which are wrecked, junked, dismantled or inoperative, upon any public or private real property within the Town of Fairfax for a period of time in excess of seventy-two (72) hours, unless:
(1) The same is completely enclosed within a building; or,
(2) Is in connection with a business enterprise lawfully situated, licensed and operated upon the same premises.

The Uniform Traffic Ordinance as adopted by § 10.04.010 is amended by adoption of § 3.11, to read as follows:
Section 3.11. DISPOSITION OF WRECKED OR DISCARDED VEHICLES OR VEHICLE PARTS.
No person in charge or control of any real property within the Town of Fairfax, whether as owner, tenant, occupant, lessee or otherwise, shall cause or allow any partially dismantled, nonoperating, wrecked, junked or discarded, licensed or unlicensed vehicle or vehicle parts to remain on such property longer than seventy-two (72) hours, except that this section shall not apply to the following circumstances:
(1) With regard to vehicles or vehicle parts in an enclosed building;
(2) With regard to vehicles or vehicle parts on the same premises as a business enterprise operated in a lawful place and manner when necessary to the operation of such business enterprise.

The Uniform Traffic Ordinance as adopted by § 10.04.010 is amended by adoption of § 10.3(k), to read as follows:
Section 10.3(k). PARKING PROHIBITED WHICH BLOCKS A PUBLIC OR PRIVATE DRIVEWAY, ETC.
No person shall park within three feet of the entrance or exit of any private residence, or which blocks a public or private walkway, gate, stairway, path or lane; provided, that nothing herein contained shall prohibit an owner or tenant of the premises from parking his vehicle in such a location.

The Uniform Traffic Ordinance as adopted by § 10.04.010 is amended by adoption of § 10.9(c), to read as follows:
(1) Except as provided herein, no person shall park a vehicle on any roadway in the town without leaving at least twelve feet remaining on such roadway for purposes of vehicular traffic without obstruction.
(2) When a section of roadway requires less than 12 feet of clearance, parking will be permitted only under the following conditions: approval of both the Fire Chief and the Police Chief, the available space for parking is clearly delineated and enclosed by pavement markings installed by the Street Department; and any parked vehicle shall be parked entirely within the delineated area.

The Uniform Traffic Ordinance as adopted by § 10.04.010 is amended by adoption of § 10.9(d), to read as follows:
No person shall leave unattended any commercial vehicle on any street on any day unless the vehicle is actually engaged in loading and/or unloading or performing a service at a specific location. Three-quarter (3/4) ton pickups, vans and station wagons are exempt from this section providing no more than one such vehicle is registered or owned by any one person or company.

The Uniform Traffic Ordinance as adopted by § 10.04.010 is amended by adoption of § 10.14, to read as follows:
Section 10.14. PROHIBITING PARKING IN LINE OF TRAFFIC, AND HITCHHIKING.
(a) A driver of a vehicle shall not stop his vehicle for the purpose of picking up a person soliciting a ride, or for the purpose of discharging a passenger, if such stopping will impede the normal movement of traffic.
(b) No person shall solicit a ride from a driver of any vehicle in any location where a vehicle stopping to pick up such person will impede the normal movement of traffic.

The Uniform Traffic Ordinance as adopted by § 10.04.010 is amended by adoption of § 11, to read as follows:
Section 11.
(a) Fifteen Minute Parking.
Green curb markings designated as 15 minute zones shall mean no standing or parking for a period of time longer than 15 minutes, 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., of any day except Sundays and holidays.
(b) Thirty Minute Parking.
Green curb markings designated as 30 minute zones shall mean no standing or parking for a period of time longer than 30 minutes, 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., of any day except Sundays and holidays.
(c) 1 Hour Parking.
Green curb markings designated as 1 hour zones shall mean no standing or parking for a period of time longer than I hour, 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., of any day except Sundays and holidays.
(d) 2 Hour Parking.
Green curb markings designated as 2 hour zones shall mean no standing or parking for a period of time longer than 2 hours, 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., of any day except Sundays and holidays.
(e) 3 Hour Parking.
Green curb markings designated as 3 hour zones shall mean no standing or parking for a period of time longer than 3 hours, 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., of any day except Sundays and holidays.
(f) 4 Hour Parking.
Green curb markings designated as 4 hour zones shall mean no standing or parking for a period of time longer than 4 hours, 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., of any day except: Sundays and holidays.

The Uniform Traffic Ordinance § 11.1, adopted by § 10.04.010, is amended to read as follows:
Section 11.1
When authorized signs, parking meters or curb markings have been determined by the Town Traffic Engineer to be necessary and are in place giving notice thereof, no operator of any vehicle shall stop, stand or park such vehicle adjacent to any such legible curb marking or sign or parking meter in violation thereof.

The Uniform Traffic Ordinance as adopted by § 10.04.010 is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 11.8. ALL NIGHT PARKING IN TOWN CENTER AREA PROHIBITED.
No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle on any street in the Town Center Area, as such area is depicted in the map accompanying the ordinance codified herein, for a period of time longer than 30 minutes between the hours of 2:00 A.M. to 6:00 A.M. on any day, except as may be permitted by adoption of a resolution of the Town Council.

The Uniform Traffic Ordinance as adopted by § 10.04.010 is amended by adoption of § 11.9.1, to read as follows:
Section 11.9.1. SHIFTING OF PARKED VEHICLES.
For the purpose of the regulations contained in this Code relating to limitations on stopping, standing and parking, any vehicle moved a distance of not more than three hundred feet during the limited parking period shall be deemed to have remained stationary.

The Uniform Traffic Ordinance as adopted by § 10.04.010 is amended by adoption of § 12.7, to read as follows:
Section 12.7. SPECIAL PASSENGER LOADING ZONES.
(a) No operator of any vehicle shall stop, stand, or park said vehicle in any special passenger-loading zone when approved permanent or portable signs are in place, as hereinafter provided, for any period of time longer than is necessary for the loading or unloading of passengers and not to exceed three minutes.
Special passenger-loading zones, as used herein, shall be those areas adjacent to the curb, not more than sixty (60) feet in length, located between two approved permanent or portable signs in front of or adjacent to, and within the projected real property boundaries of any church, theater, club or place of business or public gathering.
