A. There shall be an electrical inspector who may be the building official appointed in this code. The electrical inspector shall be a person who has had practical experience in inside electrical construction and who is familiar with the National Electrical Code and the application of the "Code" rulings.
B. The electrical inspector shall be appointed by the mayor and shall hold office until his successor has been appointed. (Prior Code, Section 3 in part)
