A. The City hereby adopts the Fire Prevention Code referenced in section 5-101 of this City Code. (Ord. 03-09-1, 9-2-2003)
B. For the purpose of the Fire Prevention Code, the "fire official" shall mean the Fire Chief or his designee. The "appointing authority" shall be the Mayor. (Prior Code §§ 141 - 151; amd. Ord., 1982)
A. The Fire Prevention Code shall be enforced by the Fire Department of the City, under the supervision of the Chief of the Fire Department.
B. The Chief of the Fire Department may detail such members of the Fire Department as inspectors as may from time to time be necessary. (1984 Code)
13-103: LIMITS WITHIN WHICH STORAGE OF FLAMMABLE LIQUIDS IN OUTSIDE ABOVEGROUND TANKS IS PROHIBITED 1 :
A. The limits referred to in the Fire Prevention Code, in which storage of flammable liquids in outside aboveground tanks is prohibited, shall be as established by the City Council.
B. The limits referred to in the Fire Prevention Code, in which new bulk plants for flammable liquids are prohibited, shall be as established by the City Council. (1984 Code)
