Any person who engages in any business, profession, trade, or occupation, or exercises any privileges, for which a license or permit is required by this part, without a valid license or permit as required, or who otherwise violates any provision of this part, is guilty of an offense, and upon conviction, shall be punished as provided in Section 1-108 of this code, including costs. Any violation of this part shall also be grounds for revocation of a license.
