Nothing in this chapter shall prevent, or be construed to prevent, the pooling of lots or blocks of the city of Eufaula with land adjacent to and outside the corporate limits of the city of Eufaula, for gas or oil wells drilled, maintained or operated on any such lots or blocks, so pooled without compliance with this chapter.
