725.02 LICENSE APPLICATION.
   (a)   Any person, corporation, partnership, joint venture, company or association seeking to own, promote, operate, manage, conduct or sponsor any exhibition, convention, trade show, fair or similar type of exhibition or event in the City at a convention center, exhibition hall, auditorium or similar building, or on the grounds adjacent thereto, shall, not later than 60 days prior to the opening date of any such exhibition, convention, trade show, fair or similar type of exhibition or event, complete and file with the Director of Public Safety an application for an exhibition license as provided by this section in connection with any such exhibition, convention, trade show, fair or similar type of exhibition or event in the City on or after January 1, 2010. Such application shall be on forms prescribed by the Director and shall be accompanied by the appropriate fees specified in Section 725.03.
   (b)   A separate application shall be required for each separate exhibition, convention, trade show, fair or similar type of exhibition or event. The Director may, for good cause shown and in the exercise of his or her sound discretion, waive all or any part of the fifteen day filing requirement, provided the application is filed no later than the opening day of the exhibition, convention, trade show, fair or similar type of exhibition or event in the City.
   (c)   Any application filed herein shall include a public safety plan that shall be subject to review by the Chiefs of Police and Fire and shall be approved by the Director of Public Safety as further provided in Section 725.07. The safety plan shall include the following information: internal and external security that shall be provided, any parking or traffic control measures that will be taken, a layout plan for the show that includes the emergency exits, and what special effects, if any, that will be used. Applicant shall comply with additional fire safety and evacuation requirements, as set forth by the Euclid Fire Prevention Bureau, and such requirements shall be a condition of the license.
