None of the provisions of this chapter shall apply where one invalid, child, aged person or person adjudged or classified by a probate court of the State or competent medical authority as being mentally unsound, insane, a lunatic, imbecile or idiot, is cared for, if such care is rendered in a bona fide private residence without profit.
