§ 116.01 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purposes of this chapter, the following words and phrases shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them by this section.
   MOBILE FOOD UNIT. Any motorized vehicle or trailer attached to a motorized vehicle that includes a self-contained kitchen in which food is prepared or processed and from which food is sold or dispensed to the ultimate consumer.
   OPERATOR. Any person holding a mobile food unit permit or any person who is engaged in the selling or offering for sale, of food, beverages, fruit or like consumable products from a mobile food unit.
   SEMI-PERMANENT MOBILE FOOD UNIT. A mobile food unit that has a permit to operate and be stored in the same location while the owner or operator has an active building permit to construct, improve or repair a permanent restaurant location. SEMI-PERMANENT MOBILE FOOD UNITS are required to meet all the operating and permitting requirements as other mobile food units except where indicated. Status as a SEMI-PERMANENT MOBILE FOOD UNIT shall be indicated on the mobile food unit permit.
