3-1-1: SCOPE:
The provisions of this chapter shall be applicable to all licenses issued by the city, unless otherwise specifically provided. (1994 Code § 16-1)
3-1-2: LICENSE ISSUANCE AND TERM; REFUND OF FEES:
   A.   Term: Licenses issued by the city shall expire one year from the date of their issuance unless otherwise provided, and all licenses shall state thereon their date of expiration.
   B.   Payment Of Fees: Licenses shall not be issued until the fees prescribed therefor shall have been paid; the fees shall not be prorated, neither shall any rebates or refunds be allowed or made, except as otherwise provided. (1994 Code § 16-2)
3-1-3: SEPARATE LICENSE REQUIRED; TRANSFER:
A separate license shall be obtained for each branch established or separate place of business in which the trade, profession, calling or occupation is carried on and each license for a particular place of business shall not be transferred to another location until the application for such transfer shall have been approved. The transfer shall be made without additional fee. No license shall be transferred to another person. Transfer of a majority of the stock of a corporation or the controlling interest in any corporation or association shall constitute a transfer. (1994 Code § 16-3)
