(A) Residential units shall pay a charge of $28.44 per month for the period from July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024, $30.15 per month for the period from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025 directly to the city. The contract may be renewed for three additional option periods upon mutual written agreement of both parties. The terms of the proposed agreement are that residential units shall pay a charge of $31.95 per month for the period from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026, $33.86 per month for the period from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 and $35.89 per month for the period from July 1, 2027 to June 30, 2028 should both parties mutually agree in writing. Where appropriate, the franchisee may make arrangements for additional services to be charged directly by franchisee to the customer. In the event of the disability of a customer, franchisee will provide rear door pick up for no additional charge. The city shall determine what constitutes a disability upon application by the customer.
(B) Commercial customers shall pay a charge of $28.44 per month for the period from July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024, $30.15 per month for the period from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025 directly to the city. The contract may be renewed for three additional option periods upon written agreement of both parties. The terms of the proposed agreement are that commercial units shall pay a charge of $31.95 per month for the period from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026, $33.86 per month for the period from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 and $35.89 per month for the period from July 1, 2027 to June 30, 2028 should both parties mutually agree in writing. Said charges shall be for two 90-gallon carts. Each additional cart shall be billed at the rate of $3.50 per cart.
(C) There shall be no pro-ration of charges for any partial month. Therefore, customers shall be responsible for the entire bill for any partial month in which service is provided.
