1505.04 CAUSING FIRE THROUGH NEGLIGENCE IN PLACES OF ASSEMBLAGE OR LODGING.
   No person shall, in any hotel, motel, rooming house, lodging house, apartment house, tenement house, convalescent home, hospital, school, church, child care facility or similar place of abode or assembly, by any means whatsoever, through carelessness, neglect or negligence, set fire to or cause burning of any bedding, furniture, rug, curtain, drape or other household furnishing or fitting, or any other part of such building or premises in such a manner as to endanger the safety of any person or property.

1505.05 POSTING OF THE LAW.
   It shall be the duty of the manager, owner or lessee of any hotel or motel to post the provisions of Section 1505.04 in a conspicuous place in each room occupied by guests in such hotel or motel, and it shall be the duty of the manager, owner or lessee of any rooming house, lodging house, apartment house, tenement house, convalescent home, hospital, school, church, child care facility or similar place of abode or assembly, to post the provisions of Section 1505.04 in conspicuous places upon such premises.

1505.99 PENALTY.
   Whoever violates any of the provisions of this chapter shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00), or imprisoned not more than six months, or both.
