As used in this chapter:
(a) "Private sanitary sewer" means a sewer main extended into private property and which is not subject to City maintenance and which serves to collect sewage from a group of buildings (generally under one ownership), units or areas within larger buildings through different connection points.
(b) "Public sanitary sewers" means both the existing public sanitary sewers and sanitary sewers constructed in new developments serving individual lots as required by the Subdivision Regulations.
