There is hereby created and established a Park and Recreation Board, which Board shall consist of five electors of the City to be appointed by the Mayor for terms of five years, provided that the members of the Board first appointed under this Charter shall be as follows: one of such members shall be appointed for a one year term; one of such members shall be appointed for a two year term; one of such members shall be appointed for a three year term; one of such members shall be appointed for a four year term; and one of such members shall be appointed for a five year term; and thereafter each member shall be appointed for a five year term and shall continue in office until his successor is appointed. Members of the Park and Recreation Board shall not hold any other office or employment with the City, except that the Chairman of the Board shall be a member of the Planning Commission as provided by Sec. 13.01 of this Charter.
