1046.39   DISCONTINUANCE OF SERVICE BY CUSTOMER.
   (a)   Notice to Discontinue. A customer wishing to discontinue service shall give the Borough at least three days notice to do so and the customer shall be liable for service taken until the meter shall have been disconnected. Such notice prior to the expiration of a contract term will not relieve the customer from any minimum or guaranteed payments under any contract rate.
   (b)   Final Bill. The final bill for service is due and payable immediately after notice is received by the Borough to discontinue and the final billing is sent to the customer.
