1046.27   TEMPORARY SERVICE FOR CONSTRUCTION FROM OVERHEAD FACILITIES (120/240 V SINGLE-PHASE).
   (a)   Applicant's Responsibilities. The applicant shall:
      (1)   Apply for service at the office of the Electric Department or such other location as is from time to time designated by Council;
      (2)   Supply and install the following facilities at a location designated by a representative of the Electric Department:
         A.   Pole of minimum four inches by four inches timber with bracing
         B.   Disconnect switch
         C.   Eight-foot ground rod
         D.   Ground wire
         E.   Entrance cable
         F.   Service attachment
         G.   Meter base
      (3)   Install facilities according to the Borough's specifications which will be furnished to the applicant upon request;
      (4)   File an application with an electrical inspection agency approved by the Borough.
   (b)   Borough's Responsibilities. The Borough shall:
      (1)   Designate the temporary facility location;
      (2)   Supply and install service cable;
      (3)   Make a service connection upon receipt of approval from the electrical inspection agency approved by the Borough.
   (c)   Extension of Facilities; Temporary Poles; Exceptions.
      (1)   If the Borough's secondary facilities do not come within approximately 100 feet of the applicant's service location, the Borough shall extend facilities after the party requesting services has secured rights of way from all property owners involved.
      (2)   The temporary pole must be strong enough to support service cable and crew men making the installation.
      (3)   Any exceptions to the policy set forth in this section must be approved by the Borough Manager prior to installation.
   (d)   Charges. Charges for such services shall be established from time to time by resolution of Council.
