(a) Annual Publication of Notice to Owners of Leased Property. In January of each year, the Borough shall give notice in a newspaper of general circulation in the Borough that all property owners who lease their property to others shall provide the Borough, in writing, with the location and/or address of all such leased properties and the number of dwelling units in each property.
(b) Registration of Leased Property. Owners of property shall register with the Borough all properties or parts of properties which are leased to others. Such registration shall include the location and/or address of their property, the number of dwelling units in each property and the name of the person(s) to whom the property or dwelling units are leased. Upon receipt of the above information and a proper address, the Borough will notify all landlords and owners of rental property when their tenants become delinquent. The Borough will hold owners of leased properties responsible for any unpaid Municipal utility bills for the leased properties, under authority of Purdon's Statutes, Vol. 53, Pg. 7107, Municipal Claims and Liens.
