(a) Payment of Bills. The rate is net. The net amount is due and payable within sixteen days of the date of the bill. If the net amount is not paid on or before the date shown on the bill for payment of the net amount, the charges become delinquent and are subject to a two and one-half percent late payment charge per month. The following schedule applies:
16th day - Net
17th day - Penalty Applied
19th day - Delinquent Notice Mailed
24th day - Delinquent Notice (Doorknob) (applicable December 1 through March 31)
26th day - Shut-Off
