214.02 RENTAL FEES FOR EQUIPMENT/VEHICLES.

   (a)   The following rates shall apply for the rental of Borough equipment/vehicles:

*   Plus fuel

 

   (b)   Equipment will only be rented with a Borough-employed operator.

   (c)   Operator costs are in addition to the reimbursement fee.

   (d)   Benefit costs of thirty-eight percent times operator's regular wage rate are in addition to the rental fee.

   (e)   If rental is at overtime hours, prevailing overtime rate will apply.

   (f)   Equipment may be rented by a Borough employee for use only at employee- owned property.

   (g)   The customer shall indemnify, save and hold harmless and defend the Borough from all liens, charges, and claims arising out of or anyway connected with the operation, maintenance or condition of the equipment.
