CHAPTER 212
Emergency Operations Plan
EDITOR'S NOTE: Resolution 2002-9, passed May 20, 2002, adopted an Emergency Operations Plan for the Borough, pursuant to Section 7503 of the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Services Code (35 Pa. C.S.A. §§ 7101 et seq.), for the prevention and minimization of injury and damage caused by a major emergency or disaster within the Borough. Resolution 2007-26, passed December 17, 2007, adopted a revised Emergency Operations Plan for the Borough. Resolution 2004-16, passed August 16, 2004, adopted the Lawrence County Hazard Mitigation Plan as the official plan of the Borough. Resolution 2014-6, passed July 21, 2014, adopted the Lawrence County Emergency Operations Plan. Resolution 2016-1, passed March 21, 2016, adopted the Lawrence County 2015 Hazard Mitigation Plan as the official Hazard Mitigation Plan of the County. Resolution 2017-13, passed August 21, 2017, adopted the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and recommended that all public safety agencies, emergency responders, hazardous materials users and transporters, hospitals and school districts situated within the Borough do the same. Copies of these resolutions and of the Plans may be obtained, at cost, from the Borough Secretary.
   There are no sections in Chapter 212. This chapter has been established to provide a place for cross references and any future legislation.
