(A) Consumers shall not turn the water on or off at the curb-cock.
(B) All service pipes must have stop-cocks and waste cocks placed between the water meter and the premises to shut the water off and drain pipes to keep them from freezing and to make repairs.
(C) All owners are strictly prohibited from furnishing water or allowing water to be taken from their hydrants or fixtures by other persons unless the owners secure a permit from the Water Company.
(D) Contractors using the water for building purposes and other temporary uses must procure a permit from the Water Company.
(E) No person shall take water from any fire hydrant except for fire purposes, except on the authority of the Water Company.
(F) In all cases where service is connected direct to boilers or other hot water fixtures that are likely to cause a back water pressure, a check valve must be installed on the service pipe to prevent injury to water meters. All damages caused to water meters by back pressure shall be paid by the consumer where that damage occurs.
(G) All persons are forbidden to cover up or in any way interfere with any curb-box, valve box, or hydrant.
