For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
CRUISING. The unnecessary, repetitive driving of a motor vehicle in a continuous or circular pattern on the public streets or alleys in a manner so as to impede the normal flow of vehicular or pedestrian traffic; the driving of any motor vehicle past a traffic-control point three or more times within a two-hour period within any street or alley designated below as a “No Cruising” area; driving aimlessly through private parking lots within the town where the owner has posted a sign prohibiting that activity; or driving aimlessly in and out of the premises of a drive-in establishment without apparent intent of patronizing the establishment.
TRAFFIC-CONTROL POINT. Any point or points within a “No Cruising” area established by the acting police officer(s) on duty in the area.
