§ 32.015 ELECTION TO BECOME PARTICIPANT IN FUND.

   The City Council elects to become a participant in the Public Employees’ Retirement Fund of Indiana, as provided by Chapter 340 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Indiana (1945), being I.C. 5-10.3-1-1 et seq., as amended. Membership shall be effective as of January l, 1951.

§ 32.016 OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES ELIGIBLE FOR PARTICIPATION.

   All elected and appointed officers and all employees of the city shall become eligible for participation in the fund from and after January 1, 1956, except those officers or employees who are compensated on a fee basis.

§ 32.017 DATE OF MEMBERSHIP.

   Membership or participation in the fund shall begin on January 1, 1956, for all employees not previously eligible who meet the terms and conditions of the laws of the state creating and regulating the fund.
